Mid-production footage, testing different camera lenses on the fan hologram for the client

For the 450th birthday of Johannes Kepler I had the chance to digitally produce a new interpretation of his famous world model. It introduces the platonic solids for measuring distances between the planets in our solar system. The client's exhibition team collaborated with a manufacturer of LED hologram fans who built a 3x3 array on site.
Very specific colour values had to be maintained for the final render and the challenge was to create a solid representation of Kepler's idea with a modern style and exciting animation that suits the unconventional display technology.

The exhibition opened February 2022, in Austria.
